About the event

The Ant Marketing Weston Park Cancer Charity Race Day will return on Friday 3rd June 2022. With the presence of a capacity crowd expected, this win-win event will raise thousands of pounds to support people in our region facing cancer.

Indie titans THE KAISER CHIEFS will be helping us to celebrate the long Jubilee weekend as they headline a LIVE AFTER RACING event at Doncaster.

What better way to mark this Great British celebration than coming to enjoy the Sport of Kings followed by a chart-topping live music act on the big stage? This special show will invite audiences to enjoy an entire race meeting, with the added bonus of a full live set by one of the best-loved guitar bands to emerge this century.

Soak up the British summertime with a glass of something refreshing watching the horses race by, before the night sweeps in and the stage comes alive with a full set from this iconic band.

Over the last 15 years the Kaisers have become a real household name, from their seven critically acclaimed and Top 10 charting albums selling multi-millions worldwide, to making memorable performances at some of the biggest events in recent history including Live 8 and the 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, and winning innumerable awards including ‘Best Live Act’ at both the Brit Awards and Q Awards. With top 10 hits like ‘I Predict A Riot’, ‘Ruby’, ‘Oh My God’, ‘Never Miss A Beat’, and ‘Everyday I Love You Less & Less’ all cementing the band’s penchant for penning contemporary pop classics like few of their peers, the many highlights to be found on their acclaimed #3 charting 2019 album ‘Duck’, illustrate a band that have no intention of slowing down soon.

The money raised at our Annual Race Evening will fund our vital work to enable the best life possible for our very special patients and the families around them.

We are very excited to be providing a limited number of FREE grandstand tickets exclusively for Weston Park patients & their families. Patients can apply for up to four free grandstand tickets, courtesy of Weston Park Cancer Charity and Doncaster Racecourse.
