Operations Assistant

As the Operations Assistant you will be supporting the Operations Manager in delivering and maintaining effective operational function at the charity. Including but not exclusively, Health & Safety, Premises, Facilities, Vehicle Management, and IT Services.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their knowledge of operations, risk management and policy writing with scope to develop your skills whilst also contributing to a great cause.

Data and Finance Assistant

To support accurate financial administration and effective donor data
management. This role is vital to ensuring that income from donations is
processed promptly and accurately, enabling timely thank-you
communications and excellent donor stewardship.

The role will also undertake data work to enable the charity to manage its data effectively, monitor its service delivery and impact.

Senior Fundraising Manager

This is a senior role within the Fundraising team, responsible for driving forward Weston Park Cancer Charity’s income generation strategy across key fundraising channels, particularly within community fundraising, donor development, and community partnerships. Working with the Head of Fundraising and community fundraising team, you will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious and creative community fundraising programme.

You will be responsible for managing a small, dedicated team of three, ensuring high performance, innovation, and supporter-focused approaches that help us grow our impact across the region.

This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, ensuring that we meet community income generation plans to achieve and exceed annual targets currently c. £800k per annum.

Senior Individual Giving Fundraising Manager

This is a senior and strategic role in our fundraising team. You will be
responsible for leading the development and delivery of our Individual Giving strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income from individual donors.

You will oversee the retention and stewardship of existing supporters and
implement creative, data-led campaigns to attract new donors across multiple channels. You will line manage the Legacy and In Memory Manager, supporting their growth and the success of these high-value income streams.

Appeal Support Officer

An Appeal Support Officer is required to support the activity associated with a major appeal for the charity. The appeal will raise £1.85m enabling a step change in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre.

Reporting to and working closely with our Senior Major Donor & Philanthropy Manager, Appeal Consultant and Head of Fundraising, you will support the coordination of appeal activity planning, as we undertake the public phase of the appeal.

Supporting our established Appeal Board, you will coordinate communications, prospecting and stewardship management of our major donor growth programme and portfolio, as we build up both our private fundraising phase and undertake our wider public fundraising activity.

You will help bring together a range of different public fundraising activities planned for the next 12 months.

Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer

As Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer, you will play a vital role in growing the online presence of Weston Park Cancer Charity and deepening engagement with supporters, clients, and the wider public, ensuring our message reaches the right audiences in the most effective ways.

You’ll have prime responsibility for managing our social media channels, supporting the rest of our Marketing team to create digital content and campaigns that raise awareness, promote fundraising, and share the stories of those we support.

This is a hands-on, creative role that would suit someone passionate about social media, digital marketing, and making a difference in the lives of others.

Graphic Designer (part-time)

This is a key support role to the Marketing Manager and Campaigns Manager, having primary responsibility for the charity’s graphic design work.

Our marketing team raises awareness of our services and grant-giving to potential beneficiaries and the wider community, support our fundraising campaigns, and generally promotes Weston Park Cancer Charity throughout South Yorkshire and beyond.

This is a key role to bring our stories and campaigns to life. You’ll play a key role in visually communicating our message, developing design assets for both print and digital platforms, and helping us maintain a strong and consistent visual identity.

Executive Assistant

To provide high-level, confidential administrative and strategic support to the CEO and Deputy CEO, enabling them to focus on leadership priorities by managing their schedule, communications, and key relationships—while also supporting governance functions and ensuring smooth coordination with the Board of Trustees and senior leadership team.

Co-ordinate and service all Board of Trustee meetings and committees to ensure the charity is effectively governed. You will provide support to the Trustees as required.

Support the Senior Leadership Team by co-ordinating and servicing meetings, creating and monitoring action logs and administering the Risk Register.

Grant-Giving Coordinator

The main purpose of the Grant Giving Coordinator is to lead the efficient and transparent administration of the charity’s grant-making programmes, ensuring that financial support is delivered to partner organisations in line with the charity’s mission to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.

The role is responsible for managing the full grant cycle—from application and assessment to decision-making, monitoring, and reporting. The Grant Giving Coordinator plays a key role in supporting applicants throughout the process, maintaining accurate records, tracking impact, and ensuring that all activity complies with internal policies, governance requirements, and charitable objectives.

By coordinating funding processes that are accessible, accountable, and outcomes-focused, this role helps to ensure that the charity’s resources are used effectively to support cancer patients and their communities across the region.
