Grant giving
At Weston Park Cancer Charity we aim to create the best life for everyone affected by cancer. A huge part of the way we do this is by giving grants to people and organisations who share our vision.
Giving grants to improve experiences and outcomes
We provide grants for Weston Park Cancer Centre and its affiliates. This helps improve treatment and care provided to patients at the hospital.
We also work with other partners who provide services which benefit cancer patients, their families and their carers.
We provide grants for projects which benefit people with cancer in our region, from hospitals to businesses to community groups.
Types of grants
We're delighted to be working in partnership with South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Cancer Alliance for our grant giving programme during 2026/27.
Purpose of our grants
In addition to our own services, the Charity also awards grants to enable research, enhance treatment and provide support for people affected by cancer at Weston Park Cancer Centre and in the surrounding area of South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Bassetlaw.
Small grants
Our small grants (up to £1,500) can be used for any project that benefits people in our region affected by cancer.
Large grants
We're delighted to be working in partnership with South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Cancer Alliance for our grant giving programme during 2026/27.
Staff development grants
We provide Staff Development grants for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals staff to attend courses and gain skills which will improve their ability to care for patients affected by cancer.
