Free transport from Chesterfield
Our Chesterfield transport service operates twice daily from The University of Derby’s St Helena Campus to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
The service is free and runs at 9.30am and 1.30pm.
The University of Derby St Helena Campus, 2 Sheffield Road, Chesterfield S41 7LL (Formally St Helena’s School) is just outside Chesterfield town centre on the right-hand side as you exit the ‘Donut’ roundabout onto Sheffield Road heading out of town. There is a regular bus service along Sheffield Road – the number 25, 43, 44 and 50 buses stop outside St Helena Campus.
Free transport from Barnsley
Our Barnsley transport service operates twice daily from Oakwell Stadium to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
The service is free and runs at 9.00am and 1.30pm.
Oakwell Stadium, the home of Barnsley Football Club is on Grove Street, S71 1ET. Around a 10 minute walk from Barnsley Interchange.
Covid-19 security measures
Our drivers are fully trained, verified volunteers and are tested for Covid-19 twice weekly. Our vehicles undergo checks every day to ensure the health and safety of passengers at all times.
Covid-19 specific risk assessments have been conducted for the Transport Service with sanitising procedures put in place.
We are operating a social distancing policy and as a result the number of passengers on each bus is limited.
