Charity Hub opens at our Whitham Road space
We closed the doors to our Whitham Road office in 2020 as a result of the pandemic to keep all our staff, volunteers, fundraisers and the people we support safe.
We closed the doors to our Whitham Road office in 2020 as a result of the pandemic to keep all our staff, volunteers, fundraisers and the people we support safe. Since then, we have worked to repurpose the space and transform it into our brand-new Charity Hub right next to the Weston Park Cancer Centre – underneath the ambulance archway.
The Charity Hub has undergone a refurbishment making it a welcoming, relaxing and private area for anyone who simply wants to pop in and have a chat with a member of the Weston Park Cancer Charity team.
One of the main uses of our Charity Hub is to operate as a waiting room for our Transport Service. The free service runs twice a day from Chesterfield for those receiving treatment at Weston Park.
Our doors are open to everyone, whether you’re hospital staff wanting to chat about ideas, fundraisers, patients or if you’re supporting someone with cancer – our door is always open for a cuppa and a chat.
Visit Weston Park Cancer Charity Hub and chat to our staff to find out more about our services and support:
- Transport services
- Support, therapies, welfare and advice
- Grants (for patients and hospital staff)
- Fundraising and donations
Our Whitham Road Charity Hub is now open Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.
