Join our Christmas Star Appeal and give a gift which could change someone’s life.

This Christmas, we’re encouraging you to join our Christmas Star Appeal and share a message of thanks, in celebration, or to remember someone special. When you dedicate a message on our online message board, you will have the opportunity to share a personal tribute and photograph (if you choose). If you wish, you can also leave an anonymous message.

We kindly ask that you make a donation to help support our work.

Give the gift of hope this Christmas

Our pioneering research improves cancer treatments on a global scale and enables people with cancer to live longer, better lives.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we’ve been able to run 900 trials involving 16,000 patients in our Cancer Clinical Trials Centre. Your donations also helped to create our state-of-the-art clinical research unit. In these incredible facilities, we can deliver treatments which aren’t yet available on the NHS - giving hope to thousands of patients and their families.

But we can’t stop there. Your gift this Christmas will launch crucial research projects and give even more people the opportunity to benefit from ground-breaking clinical trials and treatments.

The difference you make
£15 helps us run our support line for anyone affected by cancer to speak to one of our cancer-specialist healthcare professionals, whether they have concerns about signs and symptoms, want to discuss a diagnosis, have questions about treatment, or just need to talk to someone.

£25 Funds an hour of a research nurse to coordinate clinical trials and support patients taking part. Clinical trials are complex to run but are an essential step in bringing new therapies to the clinic, and are often the only treatment option remaining to people.

£50 Helps our free transport service to continue bringing passengers from Chesterfield, Barnsley and Rotherham to appointments in Sheffield, to make sure as many people as possible can access vital treatment without concerns about the costs of travel.

£100 Provides an emergency hardship grant for a cancer patient in financial difficulty. Grants have been used to help cover household bills while on reduced income, bridge the gap while benefits are approved, contribute towards specialist equipment such as a wheelchair, or pay for essential living costs.

Together we can change and save lives.

As a thank you for your donation, we will send you a wooden star decoration to hang on your Christmas Tree to remind you of the difference your support makes.
