Join us at Meadowhall!

Weston Park Cancer Charity to provide information service at Meadowhall Shopping Centre from 25th - 31st March.

This March, Weston Park Cancer Charity and Meadowhall are teaming up to provide shoppers with vital cancer information and advice.

The charity’s healthcare team, will be on hand to help those visiting the centre between Saturday 25th to Friday 31st March. You can find Emily (pictured) and the team at the Sessions stand, near Yo Sushi!

Shoppers can seek advice on anything cancer-related – whether that’s a worry about a potential cancer symptom or a question on how to help a friend who is going through treatment. The charity’s healthcare team can also talk to shoppers about supporting a loved one who is affected by cancer, and signpost to vital services.

Emma Clarke, CEO of Weston Park Cancer Charity said:

“One in two of us will be diagnosed with cancer within our lifetime. But the better informed we are, the more likely we are to be able to spot the signs early. I’d really encourage shoppers who have any worries about cancer at all to reach out to the team at Meadowhall. No matter what your question is, we’re here to help every step of the way.”

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “We’re proud to be joining forces with Weston Park Cancer Charity. They provide incredible services for people living in our region and we hope that shoppers will really benefit from their friendly advice and expertise.”

Weston Park Cancer Charity is the official charity partner of Meadowhall for the first six months of 2023. And the shopping centre will act as a pickup point for the charity’s Rotherham transport service – which provides people living with cancer with a free and safe way to get to appointments.
