Weston Park Cancer Charity Race Evening 2025 brings total raised to over £300k
The 8th event of its kind took place at Doncaster Racecourse on Friday 6th June.
This year’s Weston Park Cancer Charity Race Evening has raised £34,000, bringing the event’s fundraising total to over £300,000.
The event, which is held at the iconic Doncaster Racecourse, saw Weston Park Cancer Charity supporters come together for a magical evening of racing and hospitality.
Sheffield Teaching Hospital staff, patients, and their families were invited to attend the event for free, with Doncaster Racecourse kindly providing hundreds of complimentary tickets.
Charity volunteers collected donations throughout the evening, and money was also raised through ticket sales, auctions, and a raffle.
The fantastic amount raised will help Weston Park Cancer Charity to fund ground-breaking research, treatment enhancements, and vital support services.
Rachael Thomas, Events Manager at Weston Park Cancer Charity said:
